Payment & Billing Policy

Last Updated: 2026

1. Transparent Flat-Fee Pricing

At the Law Office of Joseph B. Caraccio, we operate predominantly on clear, agreed-upon flat fees for immigration petitions and court representation. You will know the exact cost of legal representation before you sign an agreement—no surprise hourly billing or hidden overhead fees.

2. Flexible Payment Plans

We recognize that legal representation represents a major investment in your future. For qualifying cases, we offer structured monthly installment plans tailored to your budget. Work begins immediately upon payment of the initial retainer deposit.

3. Separation of Government Filing Fees

Official government fees (such as USCIS application fees, EOIR court filing fees, and Department of State visa fees) are set by the United States government and are separate from our legal fees. Government fees must be paid directly to the appropriate federal agency by check, money order, or approved credit card authorization form.

4. Secure Online Payments & Trust Accounts

All unearned retainer funds are held securely in an Attorney Trust Account (IOLA) in strict compliance with New York State bar ethics rules. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, electronic bank transfers (ACH), and certified checks via our secure client portal.
